Inter-library Loan Form (Printable Version), (Online E-Form)

Students are responsible for cost of Inter-Library Loan (ILL) and Copyright (CC) fees!

Students will be notified if there is a cost associated with the article requested. If there is a cost students must pay for the article before it is ordered.

Fill out ILL form, filling in all appropriate/required information.

• Be sure to check Barrett Library Serial Holdings List before requesting Interlibrary Loan Services.
• Distance students are required to pay for copies made for them by library staff and for postage to mail them (click here to view the copy and services fees).

On the right side of form, indicate how much you are willing to pay for: ILL free, $5.00, $10.00, etc.

If you indicate free, your request will be sent only to those libraries that we have reciprocity with. If none of those libraries have what is being requested, the ILL will be rejected.

CC (copyright) $5.00, $12.00, $20.00, etc.

If the CC fee is more than you indicate you are willing to pay, the ILL request will be rejected.

Copyright applies to all articles in journals published within the last 5 years. The first 5 articles from a given journal title are free of cc fees. You are limited to 2 articles from a given title until that 5 has been met.

Copyright applies when you order more than one article from the same volume and issue of a given journal title.
